What we collect
- Details you give us through the quote form or by email or phone: name, company, email, phone, and shipment details
- Information needed to arrange shipments and customs clearance, such as addresses, EORI numbers and commercial documents
- Basic technical data our web host may log, such as IP address and browser type, for security purposes
How we use it and our lawful basis
- To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes (steps prior to a contract, or our legitimate interests)
- To arrange and manage shipments (performance of a contract)
- To meet legal obligations, such as customs and tax record-keeping (legal obligation)
- To keep our website secure (legitimate interests)
Who we share it with
To carry out your shipment we share the necessary details with partner carriers, hauliers, freight agents and customs brokers, and with authorities such as HMRC where the law requires. Some partners may be outside the UK; where data is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards. We also use service providers for website hosting and email. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept only for as long as needed to deal with them, and details of our retention periods are available on request. Shipment and customs records are kept for as long as the law requires.
